Russia has sent the reactor shell for the Bushehr Reactor to Iran; it will arrive any time now. The US has furiously objected to the sale of this reactor, saying it could be used to make nuclear weapons, but Russia insists that the reactor is commercial only and that the contract was signed prior to Russian commitments not to sell nuclear technology to Iran. Russia and Iran are now negotiating terms for a second reactor at Bushehr, claiming it to have been included in the original contract.--Stephen V Cole
