Russia has begun production of an upgraded version of the SA-18 Igla designated 9M342 or Igla-S (S standing for Super) for export customers. (At least one country, possibly India, has ordered it.) The new version has a larger warhead (2.5cm instead of 1.2) and can be disassembled into two sections for easier transport. A new laser proximity fuze makes the Super Igla more lethal.--Stephen V Cole
