Apparently a good-sized firefight occurred in the eastern Burundi province of Ruyigi. Rebels attacked the "Butagwanza settlement" near the Tanzanian border. The Burundian government claimed 19 people were killed in the fight, 15 of the dead "probably rebels." (A direct quote. This tells you a lot about the Burundi government's attitude to casualties.) There were several reports on this incident, one that suggested it was a more militarized version of an African cattle raid.
