Separatist Moslem rebels in Thailand threw a grenade at a police checkpoint, but there were no injuries. This is the third attack on police in the area in the past week. One policeman has been killed in these attacks. While Moslems are causing problems in the east, in the west there are concerns at the extent to which Burma is sending more of it's army to the Thai border. Thailand believes that Burma has two thirds of its army (500,000 troops) on the Thai border.
