MILF continues to show signs of falling apart. Much of this accelerated last year when the army destroyed most of the major MILF camps in the south. Without these bases, MILF has had a harder time keeping their fighters comfortable and supervised. Meanwhile, the smaller NPA, which never went in for the large jungle camps, continues to wage its economic war against "capitalism."
