 Japan has put a North Korean spy ship, sunk by Japanese warships in December 2001 and raised in September 2002, on display at a museum, along with weapons and North Korean artifacts found on the boat. Japanese public opinion is becoming more hostile to North Korea in the face of continuing threats by North Korea to attack Japan with missiles and nuclear weapons. As a result, Japan is considering increasing the size and capabilities of its armed forces.
