This morning, for the first time since the start of the civil war, a train convoy departed in the morning from the commercial capital of Abidjan headed for the rebel stronghold of Bouak, in central Ivory Coast. President Gbagbo also lifted the overnight curfew first introduced on 19 September, the day the Civil War started. - Adam Geibel
