Two suicide bomber attacks left two Palestinian terrorists and 14 Israelis dead.    These were the first suicide attacks since August 19th (before that there were attacks on June 11th and March 5th, when there was supposed to be a ceasefire in force). The Israelis have been going after the leadership of the terrorist groups, particularly Hamas, for the past few weeks, and the terrorists have been vowing retribution. Israel had relaxed security to let Palestinian workers with jobs in Israel to go to work. But this was stopped after these two attacks. The security wall, which blocks use of the many uninhabited areas where you can sneak across from Palestinian to Israeli territory, will probably get built a little faster now. Despite the criticism from the US and Europe about the wall, Israelis have noted that suicide bombers have not been able to enter Israel where the wall exists.

But the real war is going on inside Palestinian territory, where Israeli intelligence agents, and Palestinian informers feed the Israelis information on who the senior people are in the terrorist organizations and where they are at specific times. The Palestinians are constantly searching for these informants, and get criticized for summary executions of suspects, and often killing innocents. So far, the Israelis have maintained their informer network, but the Palestinians know that the war on terror will be won or lost in this Battle of the Informers.
