In the next two months, the reformers will put together their new government. Although China has forged alliances with the clerical government, reformers want to improve relations with Iran's Arab neighbors and the United States. This could cause friction with the clerics, who still consider America the Great Satan and do not wish to concede anything to the Arabs (who are largely Sunni, the mainline Moslem group that barely tolerates the Shia sect Iranians belong to.)
