U.S. Marines conduct a jungle-patrol exercise on Poptun Training Camp, Guatemala, Sept. 11, 2010. Patrolling in jungle terrain was part of the subject-matter expert exchange between U.S. Marines and Guatemalan special forces soldiers known as Kaibiles. The Marines are taking part in Operation Continuing Promise 2010, a civic-assistance mission dedicated to providing humanitarian support and facilitating subject-matter expert exchange with partner nations.
