Greece is evaluating six tanks for its new requirement for 250 vehicles. These include the German Leopard-2A, the French Leclerc, the American M1A2, the British Challenger-2E, the Ukrainian T-84, and the Russian T-80. After three months of trials, the Leopard scored 78.65%, the M1A2 scored 72.21%, the Leclerc scored 72.03%, and the Challenger scored 69.19%. No inal decision has been made, but the Armor Directorate has proposed that the competition be reduced to just the Leopard and the M1A2.--Stephen V Cole
