The Air Force is pressing for a lot of extra money to start buying Boeing-767 airliners while demand is soft, saying that they eventually want to replace the many aircraft that use the 707-airframe (tankers, cargo planes, JSTARs, Rivet Joint, AWACS) with 767s and that this is a good time to buy them cheap.--Stephen V Cole
